About the Role
Reporting to the Director, Accounting, the Manager, Accounting will oversee and support day-to-day accounting operations for lease accounting, operating expense accruals, and allocations. This role will also support the review of quarterly and annual SEC disclosures, SOX controls, and year-end external audit requests for assigned areas of responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily activities of a three-person accounting team responsible for lease accounting, accruals, and allocations.
- Help safeguard company assets by reviewing month-end balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and account analyses.
- Ensure real estate and equipment leases are properly accounted for under ASC 842.
- Maintain compliance with internal control policies in a SOX environment.
- Ensure internal and external audit requests for annual audits and quarterly reviews are prepared accurately and on time to support public company requirements.
- Support the SEC reporting process by reviewing footnote disclosure schedules prepared by the team.

Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible accounting experience, including management experience.
- Experience with SAP or an equivalent ERP system, and/or BlackLine, is a plus.
- Experience with accounting operations under ASC 842, Leases.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to complete critical projects efficiently.
- Demonstrated commitment to accuracy, quality, and meeting tight deadlines, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks under accelerated deadlines.
- Flexibility to adjust schedules based on the needs of a dynamic business environment.
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
- Knowledge of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; MBA and/or CPA preferred.
Pay
Target PR range: $57–71.25/hour, depending on experience.
