Sr Accountant Process Technician, Kohler Hospitality

About the Role
Provide accounting expertise and administrative support to the management of the Hospitality businesses. Act as an active member of the business operating team, with responsibilities aligned to match your skillset. The Hospitality Division portfolio includes lodging, golf, spa, dining, and retail outlets.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily sales and settlement reconciliation of point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Calculate related cost of sales and ensure the completeness and accuracy of accounts receivable.
- Maintain and reconcile all balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare monthly sales tax reports.
- Reconcile general cash and operational cash, and conduct periodic cash audits.
- Monitor the integrity of operational POS systems and data transfers to the data warehouse (Datavision).
- Prepare and process monthly General Ledger closing entries, including computation of source data, journal entries, and input into SAP.
- Audit and reconcile data, and produce statistical reports for operating statements.
- Review cost of sales and related inventory counts, ensuring accurate ending inventory balances.
- Participate in group close activities, such as journalizing Worker’s Comp data, publishing headcount information, or coordinating financial reporting to Corporate.
- Produce monthly Hospitality operation statements, assist with report maintenance, and review system output for accuracy.
- Coordinate and control the processing of monthly accounting journals and related materials.
- Participate in the maintenance and implementation of operational systems and procedures related to accounting functions.
- Prioritize process improvement and efficiency while maintaining integrity in results.
- Assist with the publication of Capital, Financial, or Strategic Plan documents, research and troubleshoot issues, and collaborate on process improvement initiatives.
- Support events or tournaments hosted by the resort as assigned.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 2+ years of experience in an Accounting or Finance role.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Must exhibit competency in:

Pay
The hourly range for this position is $23.45 - $35.15. The specific hourly rate offered may be influenced by factors such as education and work location.
Schedule
This is a full-time position with hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
