Sr. Accountant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to focus on month-end close, account reconciliations, and journal entries, with an emphasis on accrued expenses, AR allowance, and accrued revenue.

Responsibilities

• Perform account reconciliations and support the month-end close process
• Prepare and post journal entries for:
  • Accrued expenses
  • Accrued revenue
  • AR allowance
• Analyze account activity and research discrepancies
• Maintain accurate supporting schedules and documentation
• Assist with financial reporting and general ledger activities
• Ensure accounting entries are accurate and completed on time
• Meet tight month-end close deadlines

Requirements

• Previous Senior Accountant experience or strong Staff Accountant experience
• Hands-on experience with month-end close and account reconciliations
• Experience preparing journal entries for accrued expenses
• Experience with AR allowance and accrued revenue accounting
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

CPA is not required.

Pay

$38-$40/hour

Compensation is determined based on factors including skills, experience, training, certifications, geographic location, and business needs.
