About the role
The Senior Accountant at STACK INFRASTRUCTURE (STACK) is a key member of the Finance and Accounting Department. Key responsibilities include leading the monthly close process, preparing financial statements, providing technical accounting support, and collaborating with various departments to improve accounting processes.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial package including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement with budget vs actual commentary
- Evaluate and record transactions to the general ledger timely and accurately
- Analyze and interpret complex accounting transactions in accordance with GAAP
- Prepare account reconciliations and research discrepancies as needed
- Provide technical accounting research and implementation support
- Aid in purchase price accounting, acquisition entries, and integration of companies
- Work cross-functionally with various departments and teams to understand operating results and create efficiencies in accounting processes
- Manage and maintain fixed asset accounting and capitalization policies
- Support and prepare documentation for the external audit
- Ad-hoc reporting, analysis, and special projects to move the business forward
Requirements
- BS in Accounting required
- 3+ years prior work experience
- CPA and Public Accounting Experience preferred
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, multi-entity, and international experience preferred
- NetSuite experience preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office product suite, especially Excel
- Detail-oriented, strong analytical, problem-solving, and communications skills
- Natural curiosity and drive toward continual improvement
- Ability to execute, process, and prioritize tasks with minimal-to-no supervision
- Proven success in creating efficiencies in processes and procedures

$94,340.00 - $104,940.00 + Bonus
Schedule
Location: Denver, CO – In office (3 days week)
Travel: less than 10%
