Sr. Accountant

About the role

We're seeking an experienced Accountant to join a collaborative finance team and play a key role in project billing, financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis. This is more than a traditional accounting position—you'll serve as a key business partner to other business units, providing financial insight that helps drive successful projects and business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Manage project billing and financial reporting
• Support budgeting and analysis functions
• Serve as a business partner to other business units, providing financial insight for project success and business decisions

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience, with demonstrated background in project accounting or contract-based financial management
• Hands-on experience with month-end close processes and maintaining accurate financial records
• Strong understanding of general ledger activity, revenue and cost tracking, and financial reporting principles
• Ability to analyze project budgets, billing, and margin performance with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, engineering, and program management
• Proficiency in organizing large volumes of financial data and producing clear, actionable reporting
• Effective communication skills and the ability to support audit requests and explain financial results to business partners
