Sr. Accountant

Seeking an experienced Corporate Accountant! This individual will play a key role in supporting month-end and year-end close, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring the integrity of general ledger accounts. Key ResponsibilitiesManage and support month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, and general ledger maintenance.Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.Assist with the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements and management reporting.Analyze account balances, investigate variances, and identify trends or unusual transactions.Support intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and related transactions.Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP and established internal controls.Support annual audits and other financial reviews by preparing schedules and providing supporting documentation.Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, strengthen internal controls, and enhance reporting efficiency.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and ensure accurate financial data.Participate in special projects and additional accounting initiatives as needed. QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.5–7+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of GAAP, general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and month-end close processes.Experience with account reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and variance analysis.Exposure to inventory accounting, cost accounting, or manufacturing operations preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate is a hands-on accounting professional with a strong technical foundation and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Experience in manufacturing or a multi-entity corporate setting is highly desirable. This individual will bring a proactive approach to problem-solving, a commitment to accuracy, and an interest in contributing to process improvements and the continued success of the accounting function.
