Sr. Accountant

Job Description:We are seeking a Senior Accountant for a contract-to-hire opportunity for a manufacturer in DeLand, Florida. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional with strong general ledger experience.Key Responsibilities:Maintain and reconcile the general ledgerPrepare journal entries and account reconciliationsAssist with month-end and year-end close processesAnalyze financial data and support preparation of financial statementsReview and resolve discrepancies in account balancesSupport audits by preparing schedules and documentationEnsure compliance with accounting policies and internal controlsAssist with process improvements and reporting efficienciesPartner with internal teams to support day-to-day accounting operations Qualifications:3+ years of accounting experience, including strong general ledger responsibilityIntermediate Microsoft Excel skills requiredExperience with Sage 100 is a plus.Manufacturing industry experience preferred.Strong understanding of month-end close and account reconciliation processesHigh attention to detail and strong analytical skillsAbility to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
