Sr. Accountant
Responsibilities
- Lead core activities tied to the monthly close cycle, ensuring deadlines are met and financial data is complete and accurate.
- Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate support, maintaining consistency across the general ledger.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances to resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and follow through on outstanding items until cleared.
- Review financial transactions for accuracy and proper classification in accordance with accounting policies.
- Partner with payroll, billing, and accounting team members to support smooth corporate accounting operations.
- Assist with process improvements and updates to accounting workflows, including work connected to system or organizational changes when needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in a senior-level accounting position with responsibility for core general ledger functions.
- Strong background in month-end close activities, including preparation of supporting schedules and entries.
- Hands-on experience with account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies across multiple accounts.
- Solid understanding of journal entries, financial reporting accuracy, and balance sheet integrity.
- Experience completing bank reconciliations in a high-volume or fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with NetSuite or comparable accounting software.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a distributed accounting team.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually.
Schedule
This role begins with in-office training and may transition to a hybrid schedule based on team needs.
