Responsibilities
- Oversee accounting for inventory activity across multiple entities, including purchases, sales, transfers, and related intercompany movements.
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and consolidation adjustments tied to inventory, fixed assets, and other general ledger areas.
- Support the monthly close cycle by completing assigned accounting tasks accurately and on schedule to help ensure reliable financial results.
- Maintain fixed asset records by capitalizing project costs, recording depreciation, and reconciling subledger balances to the general ledger.
- Investigate and resolve intercompany variances, coordinate chargeback activity, and assist with related party reporting and invoicing needs.
- Partner with teams such as Supply Chain, Demand Planning, finance groups, and business stakeholders to address discrepancies and improve data accuracy.
- Assist with audit requests by organizing support, answering questions, and ensuring accounting documentation is complete and compliant.
- Contribute to the improvement of accounting operations by helping document procedures, identifying workflow gaps, and supporting standardized processes and automation efforts.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in senior-level accounting work involving month-end close, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Strong knowledge of intercompany accounting, including transaction matching, reconciliations, and transfer pricing-related adjustments.
- Hands-on experience with inventory accounting in a multi-entity or multi-brand environment is preferred.
- Background in fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, and subledger-to-general-ledger reconciliation.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional partners and communicate clearly with internal stakeholders across different business areas.
- Solid understanding of general ledger accounting principles and financial reporting controls.
- Experience supporting audits, maintaining accurate documentation, and following company accounting policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- BS/BA in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in a multi-entity or multi-brand environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools, such as SAP, Oracle, or similar systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.

$95,000 - $100,000
