Sr Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant will support month-end and year-end close processes, assist with financial statement preparation and analysis, and prepare SEC reporting activities.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Assist with preparation and analysis of financial statements and reporting packages.
• Support SEC reporting activities, including 10-K and 10-Q preparation.
• Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to leadership.
• Partner with internal teams and external auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Auxiliary in process improvements and strengthening accounting workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably within healthcare or another complex, regulated industry.
• Experience supporting financial reporting, SEC filings, or audit processes.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage deadlines and work collaboratively across teams.

Qualifications

• Healthcare accounting experience, public accounting experience, or exposure to 10-K/10-Q reporting is highly valued.
