About the Role
As the Sr. Accountant, you'll be at the forefront of innovation and growth across the CELSIUS® and/or Alani Nu portfolio. You’ll assist in preparing the 10-Q/K, coordinate quarterly close activities, and perform various financial analyses. This role interfaces extensively with the general ledger team, regional accounting teams, legal department, and both internal and external auditors. You’ll also lead, mentor, and guide junior staff to ensure accounting activities are performed accurately and timely.
This is a full-time, in-office position based at CELSIUS® Headquarters in Boca Raton, FL.
Responsibilities
- Perform processes and procedures related to the monthly close, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statements, and financial analysis.
- Propose and implement improvements to existing accounting processes and procedures.
- Lead the calculation and accounting for key management estimates, including the monthly payroll and stock-based compensation close process (detailed analytics, account reconciliations, and external audit deliverables).
- Assist with management and accounting for payroll and stock-based compensation processes.
- Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close.
- Support the audit process by addressing questions and providing documentation to external auditors.
- Perform variance analysis and financial reporting across P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
- Interact with all levels of the company to support requests for information, explain accounting transactions, and resolve discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the Director of Accounting, Corporate SOX, and other leaders on ad hoc projects, reports, or presentations.
- Think critically, work independently, and own work while effectively communicating results and recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Accounting or a related field.
- CPA is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in public or corporate accounting.
- Exposure to large ERP systems (Great Plains, SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, etc.).
- Strong analytical and Microsoft Excel skills.

The base salary range for this position is dependent on experience and location. The final offer will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
