Sr. Accountant

The Wellsville Group is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our growing Finance team. This is an opportunity to step into a highly visible role supporting a multi-entity organization, partnering with leaders across the business, and helping shape the future of our accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
• Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations
• Manage intercompany accounting and consolidations across multiple entities
• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Support internal and external audits
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and drive efficiencies
• Collaborate with leaders throughout the organization to support informed business decisions

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience (public accounting experience is a huge plus!)
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Experience with multi-entity accounting is helpful
