Sr Accountant

CF Industries, a global leader in transforming natural gas into nitrogen products for agricultural and industrial markets, seeks a skilled Sr Accountant to enhance our Finance team. Based in our head office, the chosen candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, adherence to compliance standards, and contribute to financial forecasting. Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and potential cost savings.
• Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
• Maintain internal control safeguards for the receipt of revenue, costs, and both team and organizational budgets and actual expenditures.
• Implement new accounting policies and maintain existing policies.
• Instruct and support accounting staff and departments in daily, monthly, and yearly accounting processes.
