About the role

The Senior Accountant will support multiple artist management companies with the day-to-day accounting and finance support. They must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain relationships with other field accountants.

Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end close entries, supporting financial schedules, and reconciliations.
• Prepare variance analysis, year-end budgets, and update monthly forecasts for respective artist management companies.
• Record monthly journal entries including accruals and prepaid amortizations.
• Prepare various month end balance sheet and income statement support schedules.
• Prepare monthly rebills and settle intercompany balances.
• Prepare calculations for participations/commission settlements.
• Auxiliary with internal and external audit requests.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA or CPA eligibility a plus
• 3-5 years Accounting experience
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Oracle BPC experience a plus
• Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
• Multi-task oriented
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong organization skills

Expected Compensation

The expected compensation for this position is $72,000.00 USD - $90,000.00 USD Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
