About the role
The Senior Accountant will support multiple artist management companies with the day-to-day accounting and finance support. They must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain relationships with other field accountants.
Responsibilities
- Prepare month-end close entries, supporting financial schedules, and reconciliations.
- Prepare variance analysis, year-end budgets, and update monthly forecasts for respective artist management companies.
- Record monthly journal entries including accruals and prepaid amortizations.
- Prepare various month end balance sheet and income statement support schedules.
- Prepare monthly rebills and settle intercompany balances.
- Prepare calculations for participations/commission settlements.
- Auxiliary with internal and external audit requests.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or CPA eligibility a plus
- 3-5 years Accounting experience
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Oracle BPC experience a plus
- Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
- Multi-task oriented
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong organization skills

Expected Compensation
The expected compensation for this position is $72,000.00 USD - $90,000.00 USD Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
