Sr. Accountant 2
About the role
The Senior Accountant 2 is responsible for performing and managing advanced accounting and reporting activities across labels/affiliates and reviewing the work of staff and offshore resources. Your role includes:
- Review the work of entry-level staff members and provide feedback for corrections and process improvements.
- Perform advanced accounting tasks and analyses to support monthly and quarterly financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
- Aid in the monthly close process, including preparing complex journal entries, monitoring sub-ledger interfaces, and ensuring the timely analysis, preparation, and submission of close-related deliverables.
- Reconcile corporate cash activities and the intercompany cash netting process by coordinating with the Cash and Treasury teams and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Perform variance analyses related to system reconciliations and ad hoc requests, providing timely support and explanations to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with offshore team members by reviewing deliverables, providing feedback, and supporting the accurate and timely completion of assigned activities.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities within BlackLine to enhance the close process and improve operational effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with SOX requirements, internal controls, accounting policies, and U.S. GAAP.
- Assist with internal and external audit requests, tax reporting requirements, and the preparation of supporting schedules and documentation.
- Maintain strong working relationships with business unit finance teams and other stakeholders while supporting cross-functional initiatives and special projects as needed.

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
5-10 years of experience in Shared Service or Corporate Accounting and/or experience with a Big 4 CPA firm

Salary Range: $90,000 to $95,000 Annually
Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
