Responsibilities

• Develop and implement GIS solutions to support organizational objectives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design GIS projects
• Conduct data analysis and provide insights to drive decision-making
• Train and mentor colleagues on GIS tools and techniques
• Stay updated with the latest GIS technologies and trends

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geology, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in GIS development and implementation
• Proficiency in ArcGIS software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Experience with data management and database systems
• Knowledge of geographic principles and spatial analysis
• Understanding of project management methodologies

Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Python or similar programming languages
• Experience with web mapping technologies (e.g., OpenLayers, Leaflet)
• Knowledge of SQL and database querying
• Experience with geospatial data formats (e.g., GeoJSON, KML)

Pay

Salary range is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule
