Sr. Account Executive , Amazon Leo
About the role
Amazon Leo is seeking an Account Executive to drive adoption of its low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity services with North American enterprise customers across various verticals such as Energy, Manufacturing, and Healthcare. This role involves identifying, evaluating, negotiating, and managing complex deals with multiple key accounts, and delivering outcomes with cross-organizational impact.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the build out of Amazon Leo service revenue with specific focus on key North American enterprise customers
- Be customer obsessed. Think on behalf of the customer and work to meet the customer’s stated and unstated needs and aspirations
- Execute strategic and tactical business development initiatives while working with key internal stakeholders (e.g., Amazon Leo product and engineering teams, legal, finance) and sales team colleagues
- Manage the lifecycle of complex cross-functional customers, delivering results
- Execute and define sales strategies that complement product strategy with limited oversight from others
- Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or Marketing
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise sales, business development, or account management, preferably in telecommunications, satellite, connectivity, or technology sectors
- Proven track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals with deal sizes of $1M+
- Experience managing full sales lifecycle from prospecting through contract negotiation and closure
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field
- 10+ years of enterprise sales experience in telecommunications, satellite communications, ISP, or related industries
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or Marketing
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise sales, business development, or account management, preferably in telecommunications, satellite, connectivity, or technology sectors
- Proven track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals with deal sizes of $1M+
