SPT Security Rep
About the Role
This is a part-time position with a general schedule of 6pm–midnight, Monday through Friday. Other shifts may occasionally be available.
Responsibilities
- Greets, records, instructs, and assists visitors.
- Observes facility and reports unusual appearances, sounds, or scents.
- Monitors weather conditions, alarm systems, and security cameras.
- Coordinates employee actions during emergency situations (evacuation, emergency transport, plant shutdown).
- Creates detailed written and oral reports of events.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in security-related fields desired.
- Able to handle visitors in a polite and professional manner.
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record required for driving duties.
- Basic knowledge of computers and strong oral and written communication skills.
- Must have a working phone or other method of immediate contact.
