Security Rep

About the role

Secure and manage access to company systems and facilities. Respond to security incidents and provide guidance on security policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor system logs and network activity for potential security breaches.
• Respond to security alerts and incidents, escalating issues as necessary.
• Train employees on security best practices and conduct regular security awareness training sessions.
• Implement and maintain security policies and procedures.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and recommend remediation strategies.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a security-related role.
• Knowledge of common security tools and technologies.
• Experience with incident response and problem-solving.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• CISSP certification preferred.
• Experience with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST or ISO 27001.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements relevant to the industry.

Pay

• $85,000 - $95,000 annually.
