Bayside Fire Protection, LLC is seeking an experienced and motivated Sprinkler Service Technician to join our growing team. Responsibilities The Sprinkler Service Technician will be responsible for the inspection, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of fire sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA standards and local codes. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Perform sprinkler system inspections and testing.Conduct fire pump inspections and annual flow tests.Perform dry system trip testing.Diagnose and repair sprinkler system leaks.Troubleshoot and repair dry pipe valves and related equipment.Investigate and repair air leaks in dry sprinkler systems.Identify deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.Complete accurate inspection reports, service documentation, and work orders.Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in a safe and professional manner.Provide excellent customer service while representing Bayside Fire Protection. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of fire sprinkler service experience preferred.Experience performing inspections, testing, maintenance, and repairs on commercial fire sprinkler systems.Working knowledge of NFPA 13, 13R, 20, 25, and applicable local fire codes.NICET Level I Certification required, or actively pursuing certification.Candidates actively pursuing NICET Level I must obtain certification within six (6) months of hire.Bayside Fire Protection will cover the cost of NICET testing.Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.Ability to successfully pass a background investigation.DOT Medical Card, or the ability to obtain one upon hire.Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work from ladders, lifts, rooftops, and other elevated work areas.Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
