Sprinkler Operations Manager

About the role

Firetrol Protection Systems, founded in 1984, is the national leader in fire protection & life safety services. We are seeking a Sprinkler Operations Manager to join our team of over 1,200 fire protection professionals. In this role you will oversee and manage the operations of the sprinkler division, lead technicians, plan projects, ensure compliance, manage budgets, collaborate with sales and project management, develop SOPs, provide technical guidance, and stay current with industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of sprinkler technicians and support staff
• Plan and prioritize projects to meet deadlines and customer requirements
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
• Monitor and manage project budgets and financials
• Collaborate with sales and project management teams to ensure successful project implementation
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures to improve efficiency and quality
• Provide technical guidance and support to the team as needed
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements

Requirements

• Prior experience in a managerial role within the fire sprinkler industry
• Strong knowledge of sprinkler systems and installation practices
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in relevant industry codes and regulations
