Sprinkler Fitter Apprentice
About the role
Ahern is seeking qualified applicants for the Sprinkler Fitter Apprenticeship program to work within the Fond du Lac, WI area. This is a 5-year apprenticeship program working side-by-side with a journeymen sprinkler fitter installing automatic fire protection systems.
Responsibilities
Apprentices will complete on-the-job training and 5 years of corresponding coursework toward becoming a Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter. Upon completion of the apprenticeship program, Journeymen earn over double the apprentice hourly rate!
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Clean driving record to operate company vehicles
- Ability to travel for the position
- Pass an appropriate drug screen and physical
Qualifications
Successful candidates must be self-starters, have a strong mechanical background, have a good working and learning attitude, and be able to work in a fast-paced construction environment (both in and outdoors).
