Sprinkler Fitter Apprentice

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Sprinkler Fitter Apprentice to join the Sprinkler Fitter Apprenticeship program working in our Davenport, IA location. The program is a 5-year apprenticeship working side-by-side with a journeymen sprinkler fitter installing automatic fire protection systems. Employment is governed by a collective bargaining agreement.

Responsibilities

- Install and maintain automatic fire protection systems - Perform hands-on tasks under supervision - Learn from experienced professionals

Requirements

- At least 18 years old - High School Diploma or equivalent - Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record - Pass an appropriate drug screen and physical (involves a great deal of lifting and climbing) - Self-starter with a strong mechanical background - Good working and learning attitude - Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
