Sprinkler Fitter Apprentice

About the role

This is a 5-year apprenticeship program working side-by-side with a journeymen sprinkler fitter installing automatic fire protection systems. Your employment relationship will be governed by a collective bargaining agreement.

Responsibilities

- Install and maintain automatic fire protection systems - Perform tasks such as laying out pipe, connecting valves, and testing systems - Follow safety protocols and guidelines

Requirements

- Must be at least 18 years old - Hold a High School Diploma or equivalent - Have a clean driving record to operate company vehicles - Have year-round employment in a stable company with a great safety record - Pass an appropriate drug screen and physical (the job entails a great deal of lifting and climbing)

Qualifications

- Strong mechanical background - Self-starter with a good working and learning attitude - Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment (both in and outdoors)

Pay

Upon completion of the apprenticeship program, a Journeyman earns over double the apprentice hourly rate!

Schedule

The schedule is flexible and includes both indoor and outdoor work, with tasks varying based on project needs.
