Spring Coop - Mechanical Engineering

About the role

Westinghouse Electric Co, Cranberry Township, US. As a mechanical engineering co‑op, you will report to the Fatigue Aging Management Manager and be located at the Cranberry facility. This is a paid hybrid position for the spring, January – April 2027.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for License Renewal (LR) Projects – gather information for Analysis of Record (AOR) Fatigue Identification, gather information for Time Limited Aging Analysis (TLAA) Discovery, provide support for other LR technical documents.
• Provide technical support for WESTEMS Monitoring Projects – perform data checking for these projects, provide support for WESTEMS Monitoring Documents.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
• Completed sophomore year of college
• Proficiency in software tools such as AutoCAD
• Previous co‑op/internship or project experience in mechanical engineering
• Enrolled in a university co‑op program
• No relocation assistance provided

Pay

The hourly rate for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $25.40 to $29.00 per hour.
