This general posting is for our 2027 Mechanical Engineer Spring Co-Op openings across Illinois and Missouri. Ameren’s collegiate internship and co-op program provides real work experience, networking opportunities, and professional growth. Ameren offers a housing stipend to interns and co-ops who are temporarily relocating, provided they meet minimum requirements (living and attending school 50+ miles away from the working location).

Locations

Ameren operates throughout Missouri and Illinois. Specific work locations will be determined during the hiring process.

Requirements

• Current student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above.

Pay

Compensation ranges from $21.00 to $30.00 per hour, taking into consideration skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity.
