About the Role
It's an exciting time to be a part of the evolving energy industry! Ameren's collegiate internship and co-op program provides real work experience, networking opportunities, and professional growth. This general posting is for our 2027 Engineering Spring Co-Op openings across Illinois and Missouri for students pursuing engineering degrees outside of electrical, mechanical, or civil fields.
The options for collegiate employment are from January to August. Ameren offers a housing stipend to interns and co-ops who temporarily relocate, provided they meet minimum requirements (living and attending school 50+ miles away from the working location).

Responsibilities
All collegiate coworkers directly impact Ameren's mission to Power the Quality of Life. Specific responsibilities will be provided during the interview process.
Qualifications
- Must be a current student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering (excluding electrical, mechanical, or civil) from an accredited college or university.
- Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above.
Pay
Compensation ranges from $21.00 to $30.00 per hour, determined by factors including skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity.
Locations
Ameren operates throughout Missouri and Illinois. Location decisions will be made during the hiring process.
