This role is for students currently enrolled in any university or college in the state of Montana only.

Pinion interns are talented students beginning their journey of discovery in a multi-service consulting firm. You will gain invaluable business exposure, applying your education to real-world scenarios. This is a paid position, where you’ll get to work with staff and leaders from all levels as you have impact right away. Interns are considered for future employment opportunities upon successful completion of the internship.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses.
  • Assist with financial statement preparation, audits, general accounting, and special projects.
  • Apply academic knowledge to real client work while managing priorities and deadlines.
  • Participate in client meetings and collaborate with professionals across multiple levels of the firm.
  • Utilize technology and data tools to deliver accurate, efficient results.
  • Build lasting relationships with fellow interns, mentors, and firm leaders.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Accounting (or related field) or enrolled in an Accounting certificate program.
  • GPA: 3.0 or higher in major and overall.
  • Available to work 24 hours per week (part-time) or 40 hours per week (full-time).
  • Fully in the office.
  • This role is not eligible for sponsorship.

Qualifications

  • Seeking to meet CPA exam sit-eligibility requirements (bonus).

Pay

A reasonable estimate of the current range is $25 to $27 per hour.
