Spring 2028 Intern (Tax & Audit) - Montana
About the Role
Launch your accounting career with Pinion's internship program, starting January 4, 2028, and ending April 14, 2028. This role is open to students currently enrolled in any university or college in Montana. Students from other states should apply through the designated link. Application deadlines are September 13, 2023, for Montana State University and University of Montana, and September 27, 2023, for Carroll College, Montana Technical University, and all other schools.

Responsibilities
- Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses.
- Assist with financial statement preparation, audits, general accounting, and special projects.
- Apply academic knowledge to real client work while managing priorities and deadlines.
- Participate in client meetings and collaborate with professionals across multiple levels of the firm.
- Utilize technology and data tools to deliver accurate, efficient results.
- Build lasting relationships with fellow interns, mentors, and firm leaders.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting (or related field) or enrolled in an Accounting certificate program.
- GPA of 3.0 or higher in major and overall.
- Available to work 24 hours per week (part-time) or 40 hours per week (full-time).
- Fully in-office availability.
- Employment eligibility: This role is not eligible for sponsorship.
Qualifications
- Seeking to meet CPA exam sit-eligibility requirements (preferred).

Pay
A reasonable estimate of the current pay range is $25 to $27 per hour. Compensation decisions are based on factors such as experience, skills, certifications/licenses, and geographic location.
