Spring 2028 Intern (Tax & Audit) - Montana

About the role

This internship runs from January 4, 2028 to April 14, 2028 and is open to students currently enrolled in any university or college in the state of Montana. The role is available on a full-time or part-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Assist with financial statement preparation, audits, general accounting, and special projects.
• Apply academic knowledge to real client work while managing priorities and deadlines.
• Participate in client meetings and collaborate with professionals across multiple levels of the firm.
• Utilize technology and data tools to deliver accurate, efficient results.
• Build lasting relationships with fellow interns, mentors, and firm leaders.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Accounting (or related field) or enrolled in an Accounting certificate program.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher in major and overall.
• Available to work 24 hours per week (part-time) or 40 hours per week (full-time).
• Must be fully in-office.
• This role is not eligible for sponsorship.

Pay

A reasonable estimate of the current range is $25 to $27 per hour.
