Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Must be able to set up a lot of material for spreading, ensuring tension-free spreading, and maximizing utilization.
- Set down the marker and spread out the underlay paper.
- Mark splices, marking the beginning and end of the lay.
- Record a roll ticket.
- Be able to review the fabric for defects as the lay is spread and inspect the cut as necessary.
- Identify and record the yards of defective fabric, by roll number, and provide the information to Quality Control.
