SPP Shipper

About the role

As an SPP Shipper, you will weigh and measure packages, scan bar codes from pick slips and cartons, enter data into the shipping system to print labels, and prepare packages for shipment. You will load shipping trailers and assist in other areas during slow work volumes. All orders must ship within 24 hours of receipt, with a minimum of 100 packages per hour and no more than 2 errors per month.

Responsibilities

• Weigh and measure packages and scan bar codes from pick slips and cartons.
• Enter data into the shipping system to print shipping labels and prepare packages for shipment.
• Load shipping trailers.
• Assist in other areas as needed during periods of slow work volume.
• Ship a minimum of 100 packages per hour with no more than 2 errors per month.

Requirements

• Positive attitude that supports teamwork and strong communication.
• Safety-focused with the ability to follow all procedures in job duties.
• Ability to understand and follow written or verbal instructions.
• Attention to detail to ensure accurate packing and shipping.
• Basic data entry and computer skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. 50% of the time.
• Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time.
• Basic English language skills (verbal and written).
• Previous related work experience (preferred).

Pay

$19.75/hour.

Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM.
