Sports Skills Coach-Football - Twin Cities Orthopedics
About the role
The Football Skills Coach leads and engages groups of athletes in football skills and drills specific to offensive and defensive linemen. This is a casual (as-needed, no set schedule) position with a variable schedule dependent on needs of the department.
Responsibilities
- Maintain routine schedule of skills and drills as advertised and promoted through Training HAUS
- Develop and maintain rapport with high level clients engaging in football skills/drills
- Provide instruction of football specific skills and drills within the scope of practice defined by skills curriculum and proper drill progression
- Communicate with sport coaches and coworkers in a professional manner
- Collaborate with therapy managers, physical therapists and sports performance coaches across the organization as needed
- Maintain safe environment for self, staff and patients
- Communicate with supervisor regarding any safety or incident report issues occurring during fitness classes or personal training sessions
- Any and all other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher degree required in one of the following areas: Coaching, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Nutrition and Wellness, Athletic Training, Physical Therapy
- 1-2 years of experience coaching football offensive and defensive linemen
- Proof of up-to-date CPR/BLS certification

Actual starting pay will vary based on education, skills, and experience.
