About the role

The Football Skills Coach at Twin Cities Orthopedics, an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative, leads and engages groups of athletes in football skills and drills specific to offensive and defensive linemen.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain routine schedule of skills and drills as advertised and promoted through Training HAUS
  • Develop and maintain rapport with high-level clients engaging in football skills/drills
  • Provide instruction of football-specific skills and drills within the scope of practice defined by skills curriculum and proper drill progression
  • Communicate with sport coaches and coworkers in a professional manner
  • Collaborate with therapy managers, physical therapists, and sports performance coaches across the organization as needed
  • Maintain a safe environment for self, staff, and patients
  • Communicate with supervisor regarding any safety or incident report issues occurring during fitness classes or personal training sessions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher degree required in one of the following areas: Coaching, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Nutrition and Wellness, Athletic Training, Physical Therapy
  • 1-2 years of experience coaching football offensive and defensive linemen
  • Proof of up-to-date CPR/BLS certification

Actual starting pay will vary based on education, skills, and experience. Schedule

This is a casual (as-needed, no set schedule) position with a variable schedule dependent on needs of the department.

Setting Gym/Training Facility

  • Ability to comply with company policies, procedures, practices, and business ethics guidelines
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations (e.g. HIPAA, Stark, OSHA, employment laws, etc.)
  • Work at an efficient and productive pace, handle interruptions appropriately, and meet deadlines
  • Prioritize workload effectively
  • Communicate respectfully and professionally in face-to-face, phone, and email interactions
  • Apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
