Essential Functions
- Provides oversight of league games to maintain fair play and promote good sportsmanship.
- Records scores and statistics during games.
- Captures and coordinates with officials to ensure games begin at scheduled time.
- Ensures the safety and well-being of all participants which includes checking floors and facilities for any safety issues or concerns.
- Inspects equipment and supplies to ensure they are in good working order and notifies supervisor when items need repair or replacement.
- Prepares materials such as score sheets and supplies for games, and assists participants with player roster and pre-game assignments.
- Performs tear-down duties and ensures all equipment is accounted for.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Experience playing or coaching sports or experience officiating or supervising league programs.
- Knowledge of: Specific league play rules and regulations.
- Ability to: Interact with coaches, officials, players, and other participants in a professional and courteous manner.
- Enforce league play rules and regulations.
- Keep score and limited statistics.
- Display an attitude of cooperation and work harmoniously with all levels of City employees, the general public and other organizations.
- Communicate effectively in the English language at a level necessary for efficient job performance.
- Complete assignments in a timely fashion; understand and comply with all rules, policies and regulations.
- Maintain prompt and regular attendance.
- Perform all essential and marginal functions as assigned by an authorized employee, supervisor and/or manager with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Knowledge, Experience, And Training
- CPR Certified

- Applicants Must Be Able To Pass City of Boise background check processes which includes a criminal history check and reference checks in accordance with the City of Boise Hiring Process Regulation.
