Sports & News Video Editor
Responsibilities
- Creatively and efficiently edit content including packages, bold opens, mobile shorts, specials, and teases for linear, digital, and streaming platforms.
- Edit high-impact sports specials featuring innovative and energetic graphics that showcase our sports partners: the Seahawks, Kraken, and Mariners.
- Operate non-linear edit systems, experience with Edius and Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, After Effects & Photoshop).
- Have strong organizational skills with the ability to co-produce content.
- Provide a confident, risk-taking, creative vision.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
Requirements
- 1-3 years' experience video editing in a newsroom,
- knowledge of Edius,
- Strong graphic creation skills,
- Writing experience on linear and digital platforms,
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
