About the role
Fox TV Stations is seeking a Video Editor to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Edit video for assigned shows and reporter packages using editorial and visual judgment.
- Tune in incoming feeds from satellites and ENG sources.
- Create and add special effects to stories.
- Maintain broadcast deadlines.
- Possess working knowledge of nonlinear editing and newsroom computer systems.
- Familiarity with Edius and Bit Central is preferred.
- Show good news judgment.
- Minimum of two years of experience as a video editor in a television news department is recommended.
- Candidates with strong writing, producing, and photography skills are encouraged to apply.
- Work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
