About the Role

We invite applications for a Board-Certified Sports Medicine Physician to join our Skyline Medical Office in Salem, Oregon. The new physician will work alongside four fellowship-trained sports medicine physicians and a team of over 35 Orthopaedists to care for Kaiser Permanente members. They will have the ability to provide high-quality, comprehensive sports medicine care across all ages, including assistance for women's professional team coverage.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, comprehensive sports medicine care across all ages
  • Assist with women's professional team coverage
  • Read X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs
  • Perform diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound and guided injections

Requirements

  • American board certified in primary specialty
  • Completion of an accredited sports medicine fellowship
  • 3 years post-fellowship experience
  • 3 years elite sports team coverage post-fellowship

Preferred Requirements

  • Certificate of added qualifications in sports medicine

Qualifications

  • Experience with reading X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs
  • Experience with diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound and guided injections

  • Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams

Pay

The annual salary for this position is $296,800 - $337,300, considering an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors. In addition to the salary range above, NWP offers rich benefits that add substantial value to the total compensation package.
