Sports Immigration Counsel

For our client, we are seeking a Sports Immigration Counsel to join the team of a leader in the Media space. In this remote role, you will advise on complex immigration matters that support employees and talent across the Americas. You will partner closely with internal stakeholders to manage visa strategy, maintain compliance, and keep cross-border mobility moving efficiently. The role also requires thoughtful legal support for corporate transactions and ongoing guidance on immigration-related policies and procedures. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $105,000 – $140,000 annually Responsibilities Provide strategic immigration advice for the company’s businesses in the Americas Prepare and submit immigration applications for employees and talent Manage visa milestone tracking and timelines proactively Coordinate international visa requirements with offices across the organization Advise on immigration legal matters during mergers and acquisitions Conduct legal research and keep internal stakeholders updated on visa statuses Train businesses on immigration policies and compliance procedures Qualifications US-qualified lawyer with commercial legal experience Strong knowledge of US immigration law and work authorization issues Working knowledge of immigration laws for the Americas region 7–10 years of immigration experience; media, sports, and entertainment immigration preferred Meticulous attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills Benefits Comprehensive health care coverage Retirement plan with employer contributions Generous vacation and paid time off policies Opportunities for short- and long-term incentives Focus on growth and professional development Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
