Help lead a brand-new, exciting dessert experience at the Delta Center!
Key Responsibilities
- Model and promote Levy’s Family Values: Nice, Innovative, Passionate, and Inclusive.
- Lead and support Dessert Shop Attendants during event setup, service, and breakdown.
- Create a friendly, welcoming, and engaging dessert shop experience for guests.
- Set up, stock, maintain, and break down dessert shop areas before, during, and after events.
- Serve soft serve ice cream, cakes, desserts, toppings, and other featured items according to Levy standards.
- Maintain cleanliness, organize, stock, fresh, and visually appeal dessert displays.
- Assign duties and provide direction to Dessert Shop team members throughout each event.
- Ensure team members follow food-safety, sanitation, hygiene, customer-service, and workplace-safety expectations.
- Monitor product quality, freshness, temperatures, presentation, and product levels throughout service.
- Restock desserts, toppings, cones, cups, utensils, napkins, and other supplies as needed.
- Complete nightly inventory, product counts, waste tracking, and inventory organization.
- Communicate product needs, guest feedback, staffing concerns, equipment issues, or safety concerns to management.
- Support new dessert ideas and seasonal offerings as the program grows.
- Complete additional duties as assigned based on event and department needs.
Qualifications And Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Previous food service, dessert shop, concessions, hospitality, premium service, or supervisory experience is preferred.
- Friendly, engaging, personable, and comfortable interacting with guests.
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead team members in a fast-paced, guest-facing event environment.
- Ability to stay calm, professional, and solutions-focused under pressure.
- Strong attention to cleanliness, presentation, product quality, and guest service.
- Ability to follow and enforce food-safety, sanitation, hygiene, and safe food-handling standards.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Able to stand, walk, lift, carry, bend, reach, stock, clean, and move for extended periods.
- Able to work a flexible event-based schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, Utah Jazz games, Utah Mammoth games, concerts, and other Delta Center events.
- Must obtain and maintain a valid Utah Food Handler Permit.
- Must obtain and maintain a valid Utah On-Premise Alcohol Certificate if required by assignment.
