SPORTS ADMIN INTERN (UNPAID INTERNSHIP)

Sports Admin Intern (UNPAID INTERNSHIP) Position Summary The Sports Operations & Administration Intern will assist the Sports Operations Manager with the daily operations of Traction Sports and its athletic programs. This internship provides hands-on experience in facility operations, event management, customer service, and administrative support while helping ensure a positive experience for athletes, coaches, and families. Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities Assist with game day and event operations for baseball, softball, football, and other athletic programs.Help prepare fields and facilities before, during, and after practices, games, and events.Support league operations, including scorekeeping assistance, equipment distribution, and general event logistics.Provide excellent customer service by assisting athletes, coaches, officials, and families with questions and needs.Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry, registration support, scheduling, inventory management, and filing.Help maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of facilities and equipment.Assist with special events, tournaments, camps, and community programs as assigned.Perform additional operational and administrative duties as needed to support the Sports Operations staff. Qualifications/Requirements Strong communication and customer service skills.Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor.Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.Interest in sports management, recreation, event operations, or a related field.Knowledge of baseball, softball, football, or other youth sports is preferred.Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat and occasional rain.Ability to lift and move equipment as needed.Willingness to work evenings and occasional weekends based on program schedules.
