Internship (Unpaid)

About the Role

Shalom Park offers a number of educational internships in a welcoming environment for students to grow academically and professionally. Internships are available in Therapeutic Recreation, Social Work, Music Therapy, Nutrition, and other areas. Each intern is supervised by a fully credentialed staff member with at least one year of employment at Shalom Park and three years of industry experience.

The duties for each internship vary depending on requirements but may include:

• Documentation
• Programming with elders
• Development and implementation of person-centered interventions
• Attending meetings

Note: Internship duties will vary greatly based on specialty area.
