Spoke Director, Operations

About the Role

CLA is seeking a Director to lead specific initiatives supporting the strategic goals of CLA and CAAS. This role involves working with firm-wide senior leadership and CAAS leadership to develop and implement transformation strategies, focusing on centralization, standardization, and automation. The goal is to enhance market share, improve client service delivery, and elevate the CLA family experience. The Director will also monitor transformation outcomes and provide recommendations for improvement.

Responsibilities

• Transformation: Lead the development of standardized processes, process documentation, and training for transformation initiatives across the firm. Deliver training to practitioners and champions. Develop implementation plans to encourage adoption and foster change management.
• Collaboration: Engage with subject matter experts (SMEs) and business stakeholders across the firm, including service and industry leadership, to enforce process standards, identify issues, and recommend solutions.
• Project Leadership: Oversee and lead project management teams, assign tasks, and manage annual transformation projects. Consult with SMEs and assess the adoption of CAAS Transformation, communicating changes and impact to senior leadership.
• Success Metrics: Measure and report key performance metrics (KPIs) and coordinate with other firm areas to monitor success.
• Problem Solving: Develop creative solutions to complex problems and make strong decisions to navigate transformation challenges.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of public accounting, professional services, or finance industry experience required; 12+ years preferred.
• Advanced technical knowledge of CLA processes preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred. Relevant experience may substitute for degree.
• Degrees in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or related field preferred.
