About the Role
CLA is seeking a Director to lead specific initiatives that support the strategic goals of CLA and CAAS. This role will work with firm-wide senior leadership and CAAS leadership to develop and implement effective transformation strategies, prioritizing centralization, standardization, and automation to drive growth, increase CLA’s market share, improve client service delivery and satisfaction, and enhance the CLA family experience. You will monitor and evaluate transformation outcomes and provide feedback and recommendations for improvement.
Responsibilities
- Transformation: Lead the development of standardized processes, process documentation, and training for transformation initiatives across the firm. Deliver training to practitioners and champions as needed. Develop implementation plans that encourage adoption and foster change management.
- Collaboration: Actively engage with subject matter experts (SMEs) and business stakeholders from across the Matrix and CLA family, including service and industry leadership and project leadership. Ensure enforcement of existing process standards, identify problematic areas, and recommend solutions.
- Project Leadership: Oversee and lead project management teams, assigning tasks as needed. Lead annual transformation projects, consult with SMEs, and own the adoption of CAAS Transformation. Regularly assess progress and communicate changes and impacts to senior leadership while managing their expectations and feedback.
- Success Metrics: Lead the measurement of key performance metrics (KPIs), reporting, and analysis. Coordinate with other areas of the firm to monitor success metrics.
- Problem Solving: Develop creative solutions to complex problems and demonstrate strong decision-making skills to navigate transformation challenges.
Requirements
- 7 years of public accounting, professional services, or finance experience in industry (required). 12+ years preferred.
- Advanced technical knowledge of CLA processes is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree is required. Master’s degree is preferred. Combination of relevant experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
- Degrees in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a related field are preferred.
