Full Description

We are hiring for the following split shift position: Monday-Friday 7:00am-9:00am AND 3:15pm-6:00pm (must be available for all shifts).

About the role

Dawn and Dusk Before and After School Program is a 100-space licensed child care centre looking for a CCA to join our team. We are located in John de Graff School, in North Kildonan.

Responsibilities

  • Develops the program based on the emerging interests of the children, with an emphasis on the great outdoors.
  • Part of an inspired team that supports, fosters, and encourages the growth of children.
  • Works in a supportive, friendly, and upbeat working environment.

Requirements

  • Paid sick days and mental health days after 6 months.
  • Wages starting at $19.97/hr (with 40hr course).
  • Excellent Canada Life Benefits after 6 months.
  • Pension plan.

Qualifications

  • Must be available for all shifts.
  • Must have a valid Manitoba Child Care Worker certificate.
  • Must have a valid First Aid/CPR certification.
  • Must have a valid Criminal Record Check.

Skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
