Duties/Responsibilities
- Demonstrates competencies for all populations served
- Affirms patient/family spiritual needs
- Provides ongoing spiritual support/guidance to patients & families
- May conduct or arrange for funerals & memorial services
- Knowledgeable of grieving process & psychosocial ramifications
- Coordinates with other pastors
- Participates in IDG
- Coordinates with other disciplines
- Sets up documentation timely according to departmental requirements
- Sets up accurate documentation that reflects the actual day, time, & services provided
Required Skills/Abilities
- Strong verbal, written, & listening communication skills
- Able to operate a computer, copier, phone, & automobile
