About the role
We are seeking spiritual care coordinators or chaplains to provide spiritual support and guidance that honors the patient's beliefs and values.
Responsibilities
- Provide spiritual support and guidance to patients and families
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care
- Offer bereavement support to families
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions
- Engage in personal and professional development activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in counseling, theology, divinity, or related field
- Completion of one unit of clinical pastoral education or minister services preferred
- 2+ years of experience in a health care or hospice setting
- Experience in family counseling regarding issues of loss, grief, death and dying
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently and lift at least 25 lbs and bear the weight of an average adult effectively
