Join Our Team as a Spiritual Care Coordinator
Responsibilities
- Provide spiritual support and guidance that honors the patient’s beliefs and values.
- Work closely with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to address spiritual needs.
- Offer emotional and spiritual support during difficult times.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- A heart to serve patients and families and a passion for providing the best possible care.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in counseling, theology, divinity, or related field.
- Completion of one unit of clinical pastoral education or minister services preferred.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in a health care or hospice setting required.
- Experience in family counseling regarding issues of loss, grief, death and dying.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently and lift at least 25 lbs and bear the weight of an average adult effectively.
