About the role
The role of Spiritual Care Coordinator/Chaplain involves providing spiritual support to patients, families, and staff within a healthcare setting. This includes facilitating religious services, offering counseling, and ensuring that all patients have access to spiritual care.
Responsibilities
- Provide spiritual support to patients, families, and staff in accordance with ethical guidelines and hospital policies.
- Facilitate religious services and other spiritual activities as needed.
- Offer individual and group counseling to address emotional and spiritual needs.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect patient autonomy regarding their spiritual beliefs and practices.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in theology, religious studies, or a related field.
- Experience in chaplaincy or pastoral care.
- Knowledge of various religious traditions and cultural sensitivity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Chaplain or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Pass a background check.

Pay
