Spiritual Care Assistant (per diem)
Employment Type: Part time
Compensation: $20–$24 per hour, depending on verification of experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities
- Demonstrates, promotes, and integrates the mission of the Sisters of Providence.
- Provides intensive and extensive spiritual care to persons in various life situations and crisis circumstances.
- Visits, counsels, and ministers to residents, family members, and staff as needed.
- Visits hospitalized residents when possible.
- Attends wakes/funerals of residents when possible.
- Assists and contributes to programs and services for the spiritual expression and development of residents.
Requirements
- Experience in spiritual care services.
- Background in Theology.
- Communicate effectively through active listening and response.
- Knowledge of the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Organization preferred.
- Computer skills.
